We are pleased to announce that a new delegation round will soon be open, and we invite both validators to participate. Going forward, delegation rounds will take place twice a year, every six months.
You can apply for delegation now by completing this form. Note, validators with existing delegations do not need to reapply - we will assess based on your contributions in this current cycle.
In this upcoming round, we will be reshuffling existing delegations. The foundation is planning a significant reduction in the number of validators receiving delegations. This move aims to secure the network, increase efficiency, and allow the market dynamics to flourish. The goal is to enhance validator profitability and ensure long-term support and sustainability.
We strongly encourage all validators who did not receive a delegation to submit their applications. Validators who already received a delegation do not need to re-apply; we will assess existing contributions and performance.
We will thoroughly assess all validator applications, including existing validators currently under delegation. Delegations will be allocated across different tiers based on several key factors:

Our intention is to streamline the validator pool by cutting the long tail of validators. As a result, many validators who are currently under some delegation might find themselves without delegation in this round. Please know that our approach is very data-driven, and we remain committed to working with all validators. Even those who may lose their delegation in this round will have opportunities to participate in future rounds. We encourage you to attract other delegators to support your node and continue contributing to the network.
Beyond validation and security, there are other meaningful ways to contribute to the ecosystem. You can run a provider, become a specification champion, or engage as an active community member.
