About RPC Incentive Pools on Lava

Lava's vision is to enable AI agents and anyone to use blockchain apps, 24/7, with no downtime.

Lava is a protocol which coordinates traffic from AI agents, apps and wallets on every blockchain. Specifically, Lava aggregates RPC providers, directing RPC traffic based on the speed and reliability of the provider.

Incentive Pools are created by blockchains on the Lava blockchain, consisting of rewards for Lava Network contributors. These rewards are often in the native token of the partner chain e.g. NEAR, and are used to pay contributors (e.g. LAVA restakers and RPC providers) for handling RPC traffic for the chain.

Lava works with chains and apps like NEAR, Starknet, Filecoin, and Axelar who are already paying LAVA stakers and providers $1m+ to offer ultra-reliable, distributed and decentralized RPC service.

• Pruning configuration: min 86,400 blocks (last 24hrs)
• APIs enabled: JSON-RPC
